Designed and run by Veterinarians, Future Vet Kids Camp is a Veterinary-inspired five day school holiday program in Sydney that caters to kids aged 9 to 16 years and encourages responsible pet ownership, the profession of Veterinary medicine and a love and appreciation of all animals and their habitats! The camp dates are Jan 4 – 8 and Jan 11 – 15, 2021.

Campers learn about different animal-related professions, genetic diseases, pet nutrition, exotic animals, surgery, animal rescue and wildlife conservation. Plus, they visit state-of-the-art Veterinary hospitals for exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences, and many other exciting excursions.

PetSure Chief Veterinary Officer Dr Dani Hoolahan said, “Over the past seven years, PetSure has proudly sponsored 12 incredible children to participate in the fun and educational Future Vets Kids Camp program. We are thrilled to support the initiative again in 2021 and can’t wait to meet this year’s passionate pet loving kids as they start their journey to fulfilling their dreams of working with animals.”

Scholarship applications are open until Monday 30 November 2020 with entries judged by Future Vet Kids Camp organisers. Winning recipients will be notified two weeks after the application closing date.
