Applications are open for the PetSure Future Vets Kids Camp (FVKC) scholarship, supporting three young future vets to attend the January 2024 camp for free. 

PetSure has been a long-term sponsor of the Future Vet Kids Camp in Australia. Designed and run by veterinarians, Future Vet Kids Camp is a five-day school holiday program in Sydney for kids aged 9 to 16 years that teaches the foundations of responsible pet ownership, veterinary medicine and animal welfare. The 2024 camp will be held from 8-12th January and 15-19th January 2024 in Sydney.  

Kids will learn about different animal-related professions, genetic diseases, pet nutrition, exotic animals, surgery, animal rescue and wildlife conservation. A PetSure Vet Advisor will provide an interactive session for the campers to understand the role of pet insurance in improving pet healthcare outcomes.

PetSure Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Alex Thomas, says “We’re thrilled to support Future Vet Kids Camp in 2024 by offering three scholarships to young aspiring students to support the next generation of vets. The Future Vet Kids Camp (FVKC) provides kids with an exciting and practical opportunity to learn about animal health and professions.

PetSure scholarship applications are open until 10 December 2023 with entries judged by a PetSure and Future Vet Kids Camp expert panel. Winning recipients will be notified by PetSure one week after the application closing date.
